Curt Cordell is a long term resident of Central Florida and attended local schools in the College Park area, as well as Valencia Community College and the University of Central Florida. He received an honorable discharge from the United States Navy in 1980, having served six years as a Missile Technician on Posidon submarines and an Aviation Electronics Technician for prototype helicopters.
Curt has held positions in the retail and automotive industries and developed an interest in personal property appraisals while operating Cordelier Antique Accents, founded by his mother, Harriet J. Cordell, and specializing in antique restoration, custom design and manufacturing of residential furniture. (One quick little antidote, they were the first antique dealers to accept credit cards in Central Florida.)
Curt has been an active member of the Rotary Club of College Park in Orlando, Florida for over 25 years, serving as past president, chairing a number committees and working with the local school initiatives.
Curt Cordell is licensed as a personal property appraiser in Orlando, Florida and is a Senior Appraiser (ASA), accredited by the American Society of Appraisers. He is one of an elite group of ASA members holding a designation in Automotive Specialties. Curt is also a member of the the N.A.D.A. Classic, Collectible & Special Interest Car Advisory Board. He appreciates the opportunity to share information about automotive specialties and has presented "Collectible Automobiles" seminars for the University of Central Florida.
Curt served as a Special Magistrate for Orange County, Florida in Tangible Personal Property from 2011-2016. He is also qualified as an expert witness for Automotive Value in the Courts of seven counties in and around Central Florida, as well as the in U.S. Bankruptcy Court.
